Cindy Hughes is co-chair of Walsworth’s Transactional Department, where she focuses her practice on advising clients in real estate, business, and commercial transactions. She has extensive experience in representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leasing, and tax-deferred exchanges. In handling such matters, she advises on title insurance, due diligence, entity selection, easements, and other issues. She also regularly advises clients on the organization and governance of business entities, including corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, and in merger and acquisition transactions. Cindy also negotiates, reviews, and drafts commercial and business agreements, including shareholder, partnership, joint venture, employment, licensing, and distribution agreements. Cindy’s representative clients include manufacturers, financial institutions, real estate investors, and non-profit entities.
Prior to her legal career, Cindy was a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
