Andrew Taylor is a senior associate at Walsworth who focuses his practice on general liability and life sciences matters. He is experienced in all aspects of civil litigation, including developing case strategy, propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, law and motion, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Walsworth, Andrew represented a variety of clients in insurance defense, general liability, and premises liability litigation and worked on matters from initial intake through fact and expert discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
- Patron v. Restaurant – Obtained favorable settlement for a fraction of plaintiff’s original multi-million-dollar demand in an excessive force claim brought by an intoxicated patron against a national restaurant and its security guard vendor.
- Student v. College – Obtained favorable settlement for a fraction of plaintiff’s million-dollar demand in a case brought by a former student who rode her skateboard into a college maintenance cart.
- Bicyclist v. Ride Share Company and Passenger – Obtained dismissal of defendants in a matter brought by a bicyclist against a national ride-share company and a passenger after the bicyclist was struck by an open car door.
