Walsworth Sponsors Career Night at Oasis For Girls

A Walsworth associate will attend the upcoming Career Night for Oasis For Girls on November 16, 2016 at the Women’s Building in San Francisco. She will be sharing her story and experiences from her career to mentor the next generation of strong and successful women. Walsworth’s sponsorship of the event will also fund additional career exploration activities (including field trips to local universities and businesses) for this youth organization’s programs throughout the year.

Oasis For Girls is a nonprofit that partners with girls and young women of color from low-income, under-resourced communities in San Francisco to help them cultivate the skills, knowledge and confidence to discover their dreams and build strong futures. They offer the Springboard Series for Girls, which is a yearlong, afterschool program that provides girls with opportunities to create trusting relationships with supportive adults, develop a sense of identity and partnerships with their peers, and build and practice key skills.
