Walsworth wins summary judgment on behalf of a product distributor in a personal injury mesothelioma case venued in Alameda Superior Court. Plaintiff claimed that his mesothelioma was caused, in part, by work with an asbestos containing product distributed by Walsworth’s client. However, the product at issue could have been supplied by one of two companies. The motion for summary judgment was based on the argument that plaintiff could not establish, based on the evidence available, that it was more likely than not that Walsworth’s client had distributed the product.
The defense was represented by Ian Dillon from the San Francisco office.
