Walsworth Expands Environmental Practice in San Francisco

San Francisco, California – January 16, 2018 – Walsworth is pleased to announce that Scott D. Mroz and James L. Mink have joined the firm as partners in the San Francisco offices.

Scott D. Mroz focuses his practice in the areas of complex environmental and toxic tort litigation. In his 30+ years of experience, Scott has represented a wide variety of clients, including utility and energy companies, chemical manufacturers, developers, and general contractors and subcontractors.

Scott advocates for his clients in ongoing environmental compliance and regulatory matters before the California Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Toxic Substances Control, and various regional water quality control boards, including the North Coast Region, the San Francisco Bay Area Region, the Lahontan Region and the Central Valley Region.

James L. Mink concentrates his practice on a broad range of complex litigation matters, including toxic torts and environmental cleanup actions, product liability matters and business litigation.

He has served on trial teams for several multi-million dollar jury trials and has represented clients in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate level. James has represented several Fortune 500 companies in complex commercial litigation and has also worked as a deputy public defender in Contra Costa County for two years.
