We are pleased to announce that Walsworth has been selected by the Orange County Women Lawyers Association as the recipient of its 2019 Advancement of Women Award. The award is presented to a law firm or organization demonstrating the advancement of women in the legal community.
Celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2019, the firm’s longstanding commitment to recognize hard work and promote talent regardless of gender, race, or other status, has led to our certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and by the California Public Utilities Commission. We take special pride in our commitment to fostering the advancement of women within the firm by utilizing a mix of best practices to encourage their hiring, retention and promotion. This includes an active mentoring program, a flexible partnership track and diverse management and hiring committees. Our retention of women attorneys on both the associate and partner level stands far above national averages.
