Our general liability group is seeking an experienced senior level attorney (8+ years) who is licensed and resides in California. Salaries start in the $180,000 to $200,000 range, depending upon experience level, with significant bonus opportunities (Walsworth is not a lock-step firm, and the actual salary a candidate receives is dependent on a variety of factors). Now that you have read about all the great reasons to be part of the Walsworth community, here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Must be admitted to the State Bar of California and reside in California
  • 8+ years of experience working on the defense of general liability matters, including premises liability, personal injury/wrongful death, automobile/trucking accidents, habitability matters, etc.
  • Significant experience managing cases, conducting discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial
  • Proficient in taking lead on depositions and working with experts
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Experience supervising and mentoring associates on matters
  • Ability to make in-person appearances on cases when needed
  • Trial experience is a plus
