Abraham “Abe” Berger is a partner focusing his practice on toxic tort litigation. He defends manufacturers, suppliers, and other entities in complex exposure claims and related disputes in state and federal courts, and has extensive experience in trial, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
Abe brings more than 22 years of experience at a civil litigation defense firm, where he handled matters involving general liability, premises liability, products liability, and contractual disputes. He also served as Senior Litigation Trial Counsel for a major national insurance company where he honed his skills in navigating complex litigation across a wide range of industries. This combination of outside and in-house experience allows Abe to anticipate challenges and deliver practical, business-focused solutions. His background includes representing Fortune 500 companies and managing high-stakes litigation through trial and alternative dispute resolution.
Abe’s approach to law is shaped by his upbringing in a close-knit, multilingual family that valued hard work, integrity, and understanding different perspectives. Those early experiences taught him the importance of listening and connecting with people, qualities that guide his work with clients today. Away from the office, Abe is an avid baseball fan and sports memorabilia collector and proudly supports the Padres and Chargers. He enjoys the beach, movies, music, and spending time with his wife, son, and dog.
