Walsworth Ranked No. 1 on Law360’s List of Best Law Firms for Women

Walsworth tops the rankings in Law360’s best law firms for women, garnering the no. 1 spot on “The Ceiling Smashers” list, a ranking of the top 25 U.S. law firms that have the highest percentage of female partners, and a no. 1 spot on “The Best Firms for Female Attorneys” list, a ranking of the top 100 U.S. law firms based on the firm’s female representation at the partner and nonpartner levels and its total number of female attorneys.

Law360’s 2016 Glass Ceiling report found that just 34 percent of all attorneys and a mere 22 percent of partners at the U.S. law firms surveyed by Law360 are women. Walsworth outperformed these averages with 57 percent of all attorneys, 60 percent of non-equity partners and 54 percent of equity partners.

“We take great pride in our commitment to foster the leadership of men and women in our firm and support their hiring, retention and promotion at all levels,” said Co-Managing Partner, Sharon Clisham. “We are pleased that our longstanding commitment to diversity has had a positive impact.”

Walsworth was founded in 1989 with a commitment to establish a law firm focused on working collaboratively with clients to meet their unique objectives.
