Walsworth Announces 2019 Partner Class

Orange, California ─ January 29, 2019 ─ Walsworth is pleased to announce four new Equity Partners at the firm, effective January 1, 2019.

Elizabeth Huynh has extensive experience in product liability litigation, with an emphasis on asbestos and talc litigation, and also practices employment law. Her experience includes defending an array of clients, including vehicle makers and dealerships; manufacturers of Navy equipment; manufacturers and suppliers of residential and commercial construction products; manufacturers and suppliers of component parts for aerospace applications; manufacturers and suppliers of personal healthcare products; and contractors under direct and premises owner theories of liability.

Soniya Khemlani focuses her practice on local and national clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including claims arising from the use of industrial products, consumer products, and construction equipment, for alleged occupational and non-occupational exposures to toxic substances, including asbestos, silica, talc, and household and industrial chemicals. Soniya has successfully represented multiple utility companies in the State of California, a global aerospace company, e-cigarette store owners, a large automotive manufacturer, and small business owners against supplier, contractor, premises liability, and general liability claims, in complex, multiparty and multijurisdictional litigation, and in cases seeking substantial damages.

Jessica Kim focuses her practice on multiple-party litigation involving exposure to various materials including asbestos, benzene, welding fumes, chemicals, silica and others, with an emphasis on premises and product liability. Jessica is involved in the representation of municipalities, premises owners, subcontractors, manufacturers and distributors of a wide range of products. She has a strong track record of achieving successful resolutions for her clients through dispositive motions, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Katie Stricklin concentrates her practice in all aspects of complex civil litigation, including life sciences, product liability and general liability defense matters. Katie has been involved in the representation of a wide variety of clients, including manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers of medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and dietary/herbal supplements. She has experience with multiple-party litigation, and has successfully resolved these types of claims through dispositive motions, mediations, settlement conferences and trial.
