Daily Journal Features Walsworth as Biggest Women-Owned Firm

Walsworth was featured in the Daily Journal’s Mar. 30 article, entitled “Walsworth biggest women-owned firm.” With a commitment to diversity spanning more than 25 years, Walsworth is now the largest certified WBE law firm in the United States.

The firm boasts 60 percent of non-equity partners and 54 percent of equity partners, more than double and triple the average percentage nationally, according to the National Association of Women Lawyers (NALP). The promotion of women has been a gradual one. “The partners were always just looking to hire the best person,” said Dee Cohen Katz, a partner at the firm.

Walsworth, a firm of more than 80 attorneys with offices in Los Angeles, Orange and San Francisco, is known for excellence in litigation and transactional matters. Mary Watson Fisher, co-managing partner of Walsworth said, “The experience and resources of a diverse firm available to handle complex litigation and transactional matters has been particularly attractive to clients.”
